For your next application: an IEEE paper, and a Best Student Paper Award.

IEEE China Council · double-blind peer review · a named, verifiable committee.

Less than three weeks to the October 8 deadline — don't start from scratch, turn what you already have into a 4-page IEEE paper.

Why We Want Student Papers

Not a soft side door for juniors — the freshest work of the AI era is in your hands, and this conference needs it.

🧠

Unfixed Thinking

You carry no legacy-paradigm baggage and dare to touch problems nobody has framed — and AI video is exactly a field with no settled answers.

🌱

AI Natives

You grew up with AI — the newest methods and the wildest ideas originate from you.

🚀

The Ones Who Define AI Video Next

We're collecting more than papers — we're collecting the young authors who will define this field in the coming years.

Which Majors Should Submit

One-line test: if your field touches either AI or video/film, it's for you — one of the eight tracks fits your work.

Technical core

Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Information, Automation, Data Science & Big Data, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Communications

Creative & media

Digital Media Technology & Art, Film & TV Production, Radio & TV Directing, Animation, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Arts & Technology, Media & Communication

Adjacent — you fit too

Mathematics & Statistics (algorithms & evaluation), Physics (simulation & rendering), Law & Intellectual Property (copyright & AI governance), Cultural Industry Management, Psychology (emotion & interaction)

Your paper doesn't need 'AI video' in the title — a course project on recommendation, image generation, editing scripts, watermarking, or immersive interaction is already a paper seed.

Three Things You Might Ask

Can an undergraduate or Master's student really submit?

Yes. The Best Student Paper Award only requires the first author to be an enrolled undergraduate or Master's student — no PhD required.

I've never written an English paper — is my level enough?

You don't have to start from scratch. Whichever course project, competition work, or lab result you have can become a 4-page IEEE paper in the 7 steps below. Unsure which track? Pick the closest one — it won't hurt review.

Where can I actually use the certificate?

The award certificate carries the IEEE conference header, is downloadable, and goes straight into your postgraduate recommendation, Master's, or PhD application — the one line a reviewer can instantly verify.

Awards

Your most likely prize — Best Student Paper Award: first author as an enrolled undergraduate or Master's student, 3 places, a certificate with the IEEE header you can upload.
